Donating Materials

Your contributions are welcome..and needed.  Each donation helps Habitat provide decent and safe housing to our county's low income working families as well as redirecting use able materials and supplies from the landfill. ReStore is looking for a new, much larger home. Because of our current size we are having to be extra picky with what donations we can currently accept. We hope to remedy this situation in the near future, please be patient with us!

Please call the store first so we can pre-screen your donation over the phone Tuesday 10am-4pm, Wednesday - Friday 9am-5pm, or Saturday 9am and 4pm 707-568-3228.

Unfortunately due to high gas prices, ReStore is now asking for a donation $15 for pickup services within the city of Santa Rosa, $20 for Rohnert Park, Cotati, Sebastopol, Windsor, & Oakmont, & $25 for Healdsburg, & Petaluma, Anywhere else in Sonoma County is $1 per mile each way. We do pick-up in Marin County occasionally if it can be scheduled with other pick-ups.

Appliances

We accept free-standing electric and gas appliances, cooktops and dishwashers, 7 years old or newer, clean and in 100% working order with no missing parts.

Cabinets

We will take cabinets in complete units- including shelving,  racks, doors. Cabinets must be solid plywood, not particle board, and in GOOD condition.

Doors

We accept doors if they are in good or re-finishable condition, and solid wood. NO hollow core doors

Electrical

We are currently only accepting copper wire, and fuses/breakers. NO switches, boxes, and NO outlets.

Fans

We will not be accepting ceiling fans again until just before spring!

Flooring material

We will accept new and gently used carpeting. We will accept vinyl, laminate, hard wood and tile flooring, with 100 square feet being the minimum quantity accepted. We are currently not accepting thin-set, or grout.

Hardware

We currently are only accepting NEW hardware, from screws and nails to hinges and drawer pulls.

Lighting

We accept most light fixtures which do NOT have a brass or gold finish, in working condition, with every part, and clean All lights must be the grounded 3-wire type. No ballasts with pcb's please, and no flourscent lighting.

Lumber • Plywood • Sheetrock • Trim

We can't take lumber at this time due to space constraints.

Mirror • Glass

We are currently not accepting mirrors.

Paint • Wallcoverings

We currently are NOT accepting paint from individuals. We do NOT accept 1 gallon containers of paint. We cannot take toxic, hazardous substances, (i.e. pesticides, powders, paint thinners, or other chemicals).

Pipe • Pvc • Metal • Copper

We can only accept Copper,Abs and Pex pipe and fittings at this time. Abs and Pex pipe and fittings must be NEW We accept USED Copper pipe and Fittings

Plumbing • TUBS • SINKS • SHOWERS • TOILETS

We accept tubs, sinks and vanities(new and gently used). We accept commodes only if they are in working condition and are the low flush (1.6 gallon) type with all of their parts, and lid. We are currently not accepting cast iron sinks, unless they are brand new in the box!

Roofing Material • Gutters • Canales

We currently can't accept roofing materials, unless it is a large quantity, and new.

Tools

We accept all hand and power tools in working condition. Power tools need to have all of their guards and safety equipment.

Window Coverings

We are now accepting new or used aluminum blinds only. No other types will be accepted.

Windows • Screens

We accept DUAL PANE windows that are white and vinyl or wood clad if the glass is intact, and the seals are still good. Most windows will show use, even if they are newer. If they are casement type, we must have the hardware and cranks. We do NOT accept window coverings.
